A while ago I went over many details on the Lenovo ThinkPad W520. The W520 was sent to me courtesy of Lenovo, so I did own the laptop. As much as I wish I owned the W530, I do not. This is a unit borrowed from a friend. Below you will see images of the box contents and some details. Enjoy!

Left side: ventilation port, mini displayport, VGA, 2x USB 3.0 ports, USB port, 1394 (firewire), on/off wireless.
Bottom side: drive release, battery release, water drain holes, RAM slot, storage drive slot, expansion port (support for 9-cell slice battery, and mini dock).
Battery compartment: SIM card slot, battery power connector.
Optical drive can be easily removed and swapped with compatible accessories. (ie extra hard drive storage)
