Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3T - User Hardware Mods

Subaru Mount Mod

This is a cool mount for a Subaru vehicle. The mod required some simple aluminium bands.

The author also added an FM transmitter, bluetooth, GPS, and a transformer of 12 to 220 volts. I would also recommend using SSDs instead of the included HDD because of the amount of vibration while vehicles travel.

Resistive Touch Screen Mod

YouTube

The S10-3T's screen is naturally a "capacitive" one, which allows finger touch input. Touch input is not very precise, something that makes it more precise is turning the screen into "resistive". Resistive allows stylus input, which is more precise than your fingers. Some resistive technologies support both finger touch and stylus input.

There are many kits on the internet, although I wouldn't recommend doing modding unless "you know" what you are doing.

Another mod is Aaron's TV Antenna Mod.
