There are several versions of the Samsung Series 7 Slate. Some of the Asian areas get different apps such as the Nook app instead of the Kindle. One of the apps on the Asian version is AP News. The AP News App is extremely basic on it's functionality, but it does give you some news in a touch friendly manner.
