Logitech is a company that is well known for their PC accessories. They make wired and wireless game controllers. The Logitech F310 is wired, the F710 is the wireless one. I chose the simpler wired version for this--since I don't generally like dealing with batteries. Below are close up images of the package. Don't expect to be able to repackage the controller. Companies love this type of packaging though.
This is a good looking controller.
The triggers are good.
Supports XInput and DirectInput. Windows 8 uses XInput, the previous versions of Windows use DirectInput.

The Logitech Profiler software is sleek. This allows you to setup your controller however you want.
