We humans possess the capability of great thought. Over time we accumulate ways of thinking--some functional and some not. While there are many definitions of philosophy, one of the definitions goes like this:
"a theory or attitude held by a person or organization that acts as a guiding principle for behavior."
For the most part I agree with that definition. But in my mind I structure it as follows: philosophies are attitudes held by an author, which then can become principles, and these principles are to be used to guide one's life. Yep it's almost identical, but I added a few commas.
Over the following days I will begin sharing philosophies that have been stored in the confines of my mind. Like most philosophy it will be nothing more than self-reflection of someone who has had too much free time.
