Asus Eee Note EA-800 - English Dictionary

Gear: Asus Eee Note EA-800, eReader Tablets.

The Asus Eee Note EA-800 does have a Dictionary app which by default is in Chinese, but you can change it to English with a few simple steps.

How to enable the English Dictionary:
  • Launch the Dictionary app
  • Click the drop down button (located next to input box)
  • Select Longman English

  2. I'm not sure about this. Try rebooting by using the reset button (paper clip or stylus works fine).

Worse case scenario you would have to redownload the Dictionary app, compile it, and install it.

(Choose Linux, and it's under Source Code)

I have never done it so I don't know the proper steps.

  4. I don't have the Asus Eee Note anymore so I can't guide you through it. I would highly recommend posting about it at http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/asus-eee-line/

They can help you more than I can on this subject.
